i climb and climb

like a mountain everlasting

but i can’t seem to reach

the light is pulling me up….

but i’m drifting down

down where?

to hell?

oh dear no

not there

i’m drifting back down to earth

it’s pulling me like a car

when you step on the gas

and pick up speed,

so fast

like a race horse

running to the finish line

but you pull me back

into this trance or fake reality

i slip from my consciousness

and barrel down to you

you keep me locked in here

never to get let out

i’m stuck in an everlasting addiction

never to be set free
