I wrote this toward the end of my sophomore year, when the pandemic was in full swing and all I had were the past versions of myself. I'm someone who likes to romanticize the past, but I've always found seventh grade to be the time of my life when I felt the most suffocated, the most confused. I thought this would be a fun way to examine my headspace from another angle while capturing the stifling nature of the young teenage experience.
