Center Stage MAG
There’s a glitch in the software
A static in the sound
There’s a cut in the film
And confusion all around
The lines were delivered all the wrong way
She let what was best sadly slip away
The scenes were rehearsed in all the wrong order
She cast away the prince who so adored her
The sets were constructed, scattered and mismatched
She focused only on the void that was still not patched
She ripped the script the world had made her
And decided from now on no boy could faze her
The audience froze at the sound of parchment tearing
Shocked that anyone could ever be so daring
As to look up from the script the world has transcribed
And realized she played a character, as her real self died
She boldly looked at the people before her and smiled
Then she silently left the stage, herself all the while.
