it all gets to be too much in the long run
thus why cross country sucks
- road kill
that’s what you are
wooden boxes
planters for bronzed trees
scummy windows like warm honey dollops
... Abercrombie and Fitch athletes don’t really know

I really enjoyed reading this poem. MY favorite line would have be "Abercrombie an Fitch athletes don't really know," due to the fact that I know where this hatred is coming from. However,I found it difficult to read in some places. If it were spaced out more, or punctuated I believe it would benefit the reader.

This is an insightful poem. I loved the development of "that's what you are"; I thought that quite powerful. And the overall tone of the poem was so somber yet beautifully presented. Your poem reminded me of Dead Poet's Society... Well done!
