And So On
Things I love occupy most of my hours
Can there be too much of a good thing?
I say I’ll do it when I have time,
Maybe next week,
Maybe next month,
Maybe not at all.
Because it’s never next week.
It’s always right now, and life goes on and on!
I wake up and count hours until I can go back home.
Let’s not count the hours.
What’s nice about this moment? How can I relish in now?
The day will end whether I enjoy it or not; life goes on and on!
So strangely enough, I’m happy
Even though I’m essentially swimming through a tsunami.
I think I’m too busy for the existential stuff that used to bother me.
Too busy to be sad; life goes on and on!
But yeah
I miss playing on the playground at recess
When the only thing that occupied my mind was the hope that my mom put lunchables in my bag today.
Oh well; life goes on and on!
