A Million Reasons

People always tell me there are a million reasons why not
Of all the things that could go wrong
Every possible predictable outcome
The appalling options that come from my choices
Yet, I never seem to grasp them
No, I don’t see the good in everything
I see the second chances I can give to those who are most undeserving
Because every time you tell me the million reasons why not
I will always follow the one reason why I should
