What Love Means
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
You can love,
Whoever you want to,
In today's world,
Many finally realize,
It doesn’t have to be,
How Adam and Eve harmonized,
You can love men,
You can love women,
You can love both,
Or you can love none.
That is the world we finally live in.
Many disagree,
But that's okay,
We just need to warm their hearts,
Open their eyes,
Help them see,
Love is love,
Don't you see?
Its hard for a person,
To truly love someone,
And on top of that,
Have the world tell you,
That you can’t love who you love.
Would you like it if the world did that to you?
