Cruel Deeds
Go ahead, break my bones
Bash them with sticks and stones
Bend my dignity until nothing's left
Try to condemn me to my own death
Go ahead, tear off my skin
Pierce my face with needles and pins
Throw it like glass and shatter my pride
Then bust it open and look inside
Go ahead, let me bleed
Try to make me yell and plead
Try bury me into a hole
Once you dig up my empty soul
For all your torture and cruel things
You can never stop the song I sing
My happy tune in time of sorrow
"There will always be another tomorrow"

When I thought of this, I thought of a man with a pure heart, and yes, this can be related to Christ but I wouldn't recommend it. This poem of people struggling through their lives always being punished through people and nature. That is the true reason this story is based on. Enjoy.
