The inky morose
Night
Holds only caliginous
Despair
Dreams are the only life vests
Keeping you above the doleful sea
Of what lies within
But the sun will soon ascend and
Rescue you
From your sacred fears
Burying the burden of
Hidden truth
Shielding you from you,
You and your nightmares.
