Where You Live
An hour before, an hour behind
We talk to each other at different times
It's 12:09 here
11:09 there
I may be sleepy, but I don't even care
Two different worlds, slightly the same
Fighting and violence, downtown's that way
It's true I've been sheltered in church all my life
Still I'm not blind, I've seen blood and a knife
Where you live is different than where I reside
We'll meet someday, but it's a long ride
