Was how long we talked,
On our ice cream high,
Hiding our cell phones under the sheets
Whispering in bad reception.

6 days
Was how long I held out the hope
That there was a maybe.

2 hours
Was how long I waited for you to call me
When you said you'd call right back.

32 hours
Was how long I seethed at you,
Was how long I wanted you to call me
Was how long I waited for your voice.

10 seconds
Was how long it took you
To break what could have been.
