A funny, intelligent and caring person
Brought down by stage 2 breast cancer
It wasn’t the angry cancer
But instead what the cancer kept her from doing
Being with the students and teachers that looked up to her
Like children look up to their mothers

With her will
With her strength
Dr. Moorhead was a soldier
Who fought her own battle
She still came to school
To learn and to teach
She jumped over the doubts and the hardships that came along
Dr. Moorhead gave it all she had
And when she was back
She was stronger than ever.
