A cloak of night,
The shroud of stars,
We are searching
Behind steel bars.
Help us find you,
We will bow!
Oh great monster,
Where art thou?
A spiteful glare
Of moonlight,
Hides you from
Our tired sight.
We need your presence,
We bid you come.
Undoubtedly now,
We're in the slum!
We're your subjects,
Save us please!
We are waiting,
Shaking our knees!
Oh great monster,
Where art thou?
It is true we
Need you now!
