The Perfect Kiss
Why must you be beautiful? Why must I miss you?
Why must it be so euphoric to kiss you?
You're the one who kills all other thoughts.
I want to be the one to catch her when she drops.
Lying alone, up in my in my empty bed.
All of you, these thoughts in my head.
An ocean of sadness, a sunset of love.
Being the wings to keep me above.
Stuck on a cloud called number nine.
Waiting for the day I call you mine.
A rhapsody of compositions as I sit in the seat.
Rendetions of the bass flowing from my heartbeat.
Homesick of my home of the warmth in your arms.
My home of the spark in your eyes bright as the stars.
Just a glance from you puts me in a haze.
Your presence never leaves this never-ending phase.
The empty side of my bed gets colder every night.
Though you are gone, you've never left my sight.
