Soda Pop
It's as simple as reading a book.
Popping them in, I'm a fish and they're the hook.
Pop, swallow, sip, down my throat.
They have me flooded, I'm drowning in my boat.
I've dug a six foot hole and it keeps getting deeper.
I look around the streets and they keep getting cheaper.
They're so easy to find and so hard to quit.
I keep a'poppin until all of these effects hit.
And I know it's so wrong, far from right.
But they're so tempting, they put up a small fight.
I lose to the urge because they're at my fingertips.
So I pop another, swallow, and I sip.
