Admiring Alexis
I've a perfume bottle shaped like a flask
And a million questions if you should ask
But I can't think of any of them
And I ain't got no answers so then
She scoops up a handful of stars in her palm
And I just can't help but stare at them all
And wish I could do stuff like that
Pull rabbits and dreams from my hat
The courage she has and the things that she says
The myriad things that come out of her head
Make her seem so mature and so old
And I dream that one day I'll be bold.
