Recovering
She lays there; on the cold, bare floor
Gasping for air, for she has lost her breath.
Crying are her eyes as she can take
no more
Of the lies and the pain that portrays her to near death.
Her eyes flash in horror as she recognizes
Faces, memories, voices of her true love.
Her body trembles as she agonizes
Hiding the scares with a glove.
As time moves on, so does she
Forgetting about the agony;memories
fading slow
Restraining not to dispose the key
Holding the fate to distant woes
This time her lids open; eyes crystal clear
No hint of hurt and pain; erased
completely of fear

Second of all I'd like to say that I really like this poem.
It's so relatable and the imagery and ryhme scheme are great.
