Memories MAG

By Anonymous

I walk through the streets of Cuba,
Remembering whereI grew up.
I remember where I played when I was a little boy.
I standwhere I met my cousins
And then I remember how they looked.
I see a longgreen river,
A river that looks like death.
I remember my place of birth.
I remember where my loved ones now lay in peace.
I remember a small home,
The home that I grew up in.
I remember a deep blue flag
With a redtriangle.
The triangle of my flag.
I remember my small island...
CUBA.
