Mom MAG
I watch your every move,
the way you put on your lipstick
to the way you wash the dishes.
My life long wish,
to be like you.
Through the corner of my eye
I see you watching me.
You see me as yourself;
young
innocent
free willing.
Wondering,
will she know how to choose right from wrong?
can I stop her before she repeats my
childish mistakes?
I've already learned so much
from the building blocks
to the uncomfortable talks
How much more could you possibly know
because I can't think of another word to make
this poem flow.
