What Jenna Means to Me
Jenna. A Welsh name derived from Gwenhwyfar, meaning white shadow. A white shadow sounds like a powerful superhero.
Jenna radiates the color dark purple, that's dark but still vibrant. Like a mourning glory on a vine that blooms and makes everyone stop to take pictures because it is so beautiful.
Jenna. Na Na Na, like that one song you heard on the radio but can't remember the name, a bouncy name, pairs with the number 7, and sprinkled donuts. A bright name, like that rainbow umbrella everyone has at the beach. A name that is welcoming and friendly to all, like the smell of warm cookies coming right out of the oven.
When you’re a Jenna, your name is basic but unknown and mysterious like the bottom of the ocean, it is unique if you dig deep.
Jenna. Coming from my parent's desire to name their kid a name that is different but not confusing. Not much story is behind it, though, there is still much beneath the surface.
Jenna’s are characteristically bouncy and friendly. My parents must have been able to see the future, also, with drive and determination, I have a hard time giving up.
My personality is subtle but vibrant at the same time, I have the confidence to stand out and be a bright flower. I am the white shadow.
I live up to what my name means. My name is me and I am my name.
