The Colors - Grey
Grey knows the darkest corners and the lightest farmhouses. Grey understands why babies and the elderly cry and Grey understands afternoon naps. Gray has a laugh like a Cadillac and a voice like a whip crack. Grey wants you to exist as you are, together. Grey does not see passion, Grey only feels the calm of pieces that fit perfectly. Grey knows how much you hate school and grey knows that your desire to learn leans into a dry well. Grey wants you to smile, but those fallacies you call smiles are insufficient to Grey. Grey does not care when you cry because Grey has better things to worry about and Grey knows that everyone cries.
